Jake Jones

This is a character I have created for my second play-through of Fallout 4.

It's actually the first time I have ever created a male character in a Bethesda game, and have done two play-throughs of Fallout3, two of Fallout: New Vegas, an extended play-through of Skyrim, and a play-through of Fallout 4. All female characters. In fact, whenever a game allows you to choose your gender I always choose female, obviously. I just fancied a change this time.

So, this is Jake Jones - who was a highly decorated combat veteran in the US Army who happened to be in the right place at the right time, and goes into a Vault with his wife and son rather than dying when the bombs fell. He emerges from cryogenic sleep 200 years later with all his military training fresh in his mind and very well equipped to tackle the Wasteland of Fallout 4.

In game terms, that means I had no problems with cheating and giving him a load of perks that are consistent with his backstory, like Armorer, Blacksmith, Heavy Gunner, Steady Aim, Demolition Expert, Sniper, Concentrated Fire, Toughness, Gun Nut, Gun Slinger, etc.

He'll almost certainly bump into the Brotherhood of Steel and will join them, and fit right in with their Military command structure.
